I thought this case had a lot of potential when I bought it offline because I just got my first iPad and I love how it looks. That being said I ordered another case to have two options and I was immediately disappointed and bored with this SlimShell case. It doesn't provide enough protection around the edges or corners of your device. If you drop it, there's not enough padding to really protect the screen or glass in general. If you attempt to use this case while lying in bed or on a softer surface, you will get absolutely no functionality - the stand will fail and the case will not support itself or provide the required viewing angle. Because the stand fails, you'll be holding your iPad more often and the bottom of your device will feel bad while this case is in place. There are cases with better protection, better functionality, and mine even has a magnetized back so I can attach my iPad to the microwave while cooking. I sent this item back the day after receiving it even though it looks cool.
