I was very surprised when I received this for the first time. I was apprehensive about ordering cosmetics through Revain, especially eye shadows as they usually come unassembled, but the packaging was very tight and soft and didn't allow for those crazy props! The color choices in the purple palette are great and all the colors go well together. I made several combinations. It blends very well and holds up well. Though it hurts a little if I'm wrong. It doesn't stain or anything but it's waterproof so I have to use makeup remover. I only tested it for 5 hours without a finish spray, but during that time it held up very well. I've used it both for everyday wear and for my "gothic" makeup when I go out. Holds up well in 100 degree F outside temperatures and it smudges well when I started sweating too much and intentionally smudged it to look it.
