Where I live we have some of the highest water hardness levels in the US. I couldn't find anything that would suit my face. The willow bark it contains makes it a mild detergent that works with hard water. Resistant to hard water, it acts as a binder, binding minerals, especially calcium, and removing debris from the face. Now I can apply moisturizer and it doesn't clog my pores! My face doesn't look dirty and I feel clean.
