So my previous parcel box had parts that had to fit together and a hinged lid that didn't work properly. I had to buy a new shipping box in 6 months and decided on the Parcelwirx standard vertical shipping box with a hinged lid. I was nervous that like the previous box from another manufacturer it would have to be assembled and fall apart. I was so happy when it arrived! It consists of only two parts and nothing needs to be put together. The base is a one-piece injection molded part. The top is simply put on. Since I live in the country and put my parcel box behind the fence, I put a square cobblestone in the ground for extra weight, but I don't think it's necessary. It was a great purchase and affordable. My advice: do not buy a parcel box with matching parts as they can and will fall apart. Make sure the base is tight. I can recommend that to you. For the record, I received NO discounts or promotions for writing this review. The product is excellent and inexpensive! PS There is only one downside, the box does not close. For me, I don't need it to block, but if it's important to you, you might want to reconsider your decision.
