Waste of money and time. I was trying to repair a cracked Toyota Sienna dashboard. Before proceeding with the repair, I practiced on the old vinyl using the heating method. Following the instructions in the letter, I could never get the mixture to stick to the vinyl and not the contact paper, even when the temperature was reduced to the iron's minimum temperature. I then attempted to repair the dashboard by waiting for the mixture to set overnight without heating, but removing the stencil paper destroyed the stencil pressed into the mass. When the vinyl compound finally cured, it looked a lot worse than a crack; The consistency was like cling film, easily wiped off with a rag. This product appears to be identical to the one I tried 20 years ago with the same results. Even when this method works, the amount of compound administered is ridiculously small, about half a thimble for each color, and the number of colors is very limited. I'm surprised this type of product is still on the market. Let the buyer be alert.
