My cats needed a place upstairs (not the dining table) to escape to when the dog wanted to play but wouldn't. I chose this a few days ago because there are no stairs (so the dog can't come along) and because of its height. It arrived on time, shipped in a large box which was a bit heavy but I expected that. Sometimes these things have too much packaging, but it was easy to take them out of the box so I could start assembling. It was super easy to put together. Some other reviews have mentioned not being able to connect the rope. I also started having this problem until I realized I placed the box in the wrong place. I moved it to another pre-drilled hole and the rope was very easy to connect now. My two medium sized cats love perches. Anyone who hates their four-legged brother also seems to enjoy the closet and the hammock. It's been here less than 24 hours and so far I'd say it's a hit.
