Review on πŸ“· Capture Camera Clip V3 with Plate by Peak Design by Kristen Narvaez

Revainrating 3 out of 5

That's my opinion and I stand by it.

New review: The clip, which screws onto cameras and other gear and snaps into the belt loop, does not have a 1/4" x 20 threaded hole at the bottom that allows tripods and other attachments to be attached without them to remove them from the camera or other devices. Although the product appears to be well built, I am dissatisfied with the aforementioned lack of function, over-packaging and lack of timely customer support. I later found out from CS that I had thrown away the manual on the back of the packaging i had to cut, mangle and tear off a product to release it. things with a pretty bag, also unfriendly, but WITHOUT INSTRUCTIONS on a simple, more friendly paper! of this product which actually has no resources because if you click on "user manual" there you will get a list of products to choose from, NONE OF THEM are this product! But wait, that's not all: then there's a supposed video to click on, and when you click on it, IT JUST ENLARGES THE IMAGE, AND NOTHING PLAYS ANYTHING! Don't forget this has to be modular ie part of the system AND it comes with additional parts and tools, however there are ABSOLUTELY NO INSTRUCTIONS OR EXPLANATIONS FOR EVERYTHING so I had to figure it all out myself. I had to figure out how to attach it to the system belt or any other belt, what additional parts are needed etc. (These parts are 2 longer stainless steel screws replacing the ones holding the two halves of this belt together which I assume they are designed to fit this product around heavier belts or straps.

Pros
  • Quality workmanship
Cons
  • Some small things
