I confess I bought this out of sheer nostalgia, especially since I finally have the AirPod Pros kit and opened the lid seam here, like a 'real' Pokeball. If you're a fan who just needs a novelty to invest your $200 in, go for it. But if you're here for the feature, keep looking. It looks cool but is cheaply made. There were areas that felt too thin to be protective and other parts that added too much extra weight and bulk. The silicone filling was sloppy and there was very noticeable color bleeding - in thinner areas you can even see color bleeding from the outside. And for me the seam was sewn pretty sharp. It was so jagged that I would have had to carefully cut it all the way off if I didn't want to cut myself. As much as I want to keep it, I want something better, so it's coming back.
