If I tried it the printer would be very disappointing. I bought this a little over a year ago. I don't type often so I expect it to be less painful than going to the dentist. This printer came with a very limited amount of ink in the starter cartridges. I think I printed 6-7 color pages (mostly text) and 10-15 black and white pages before they ran out. I came to Revain to buy replacement inks. I guess I got lucky that day because I first ordered a generic in the hope that Epson would be the only company not just interested in scamming customers with ridiculously inflated ink prices. But of course they were. The printer does not move past the digital ink change screen when using generic brand cartridges. Yes I have tried many hacks on Youtube and even here on Revain so the first $15 was wasted. I then tried to reorder Epson cartridges from Walmart for $40. When I put these 4 brand new Epson cartridges in the printer everything was fine. I went to print the page and it acted the same as if I had printed the pages, when they came out they were completely BLANK!. I've tried cleaning the head, injectors and shut down along with everything else suggested. Spend at least 3 hours of my limited free time. I updated the software, then tried to print again, then got a low ink message! You shit (that's not the word I used) make fun of me! So you spent an extra $55 on ink for this junk and not a single page printed! I won't even go into detail about the times and problems I encountered when I had to run to the UPS store at the last minute to print event tickets or shipping labels. I don't know and I don't care what the problem is with this printer or with Epson because it has already proved to be the biggest waste of time and money I have experienced in quite some time.
