This adorable belt really helped pull my outfit together. (I wore it with a simple slip to the gala.) It's glittery and elegant. I didn't know the waist band was metal - it's all spiral metal, kind of snug but tighter and more durable. I thought it would be weird but it really wasn't. The winding gives it a certain elasticity, even without adjusting the different sizes. (Although that could also mean it pinches if you're more than a little taller than the target size.) The only issue I had was that the attachment mechanism isn't the most secure and the strap is so stretchy and heavy . that when the shutter opens, it ricochets off like lightning. It's good that although I didn't touch the belt, I coped well even with active dancing. But when I messed with it at all, it was easy to undo without much point.
