. I will update this if it breaks in less than 2 years but after 3 weeks it's still working great. on a 2007 Pontiac Vibe, which is basically a Toyota Matrix. I've had mixed door drives many times and am working on a theory that the cabin air filter is not installed properly and may be rubbing on the door. and lead to a broken tooth, so get the filter right (I'm telling you - Jiffy Lube dude changes my neighbor's filter). Another way I think they can break is if there is condensation on the mixing door and then it closes and the machine stalls and stalls. I will blame the air conditioning/car manufacturer for this. Sure, look up YouTube for some tips, I was able to get my hands on the 5/16" 5mm socket on the top screw and unscrew it by hand. I had forgotten I had a small socket wrench with no handle, which might have helped - a flex head screwdriver might have worked. I wrapped some tape around the socket for a better grip. Then I also got the cabin air filter out and put it in there to help with the layout. It took about 20 minutes to sort out the lineup and I wish the engineers did a better job editing but.. Summary - It works, from what I've seen of the plastic and the operating noise (quiet) it seems of normal quality to be. Good luck!
