Very good shower! Completely made of plastic, including screw connection with internal thread. There are no wrench flats on a female pipe threaded fitting. The screw connection was leaking during the first attempts. First with one turn of teflon tape on the threads, then without (hoping for a seal between pipe end and gasket), then successfully with 3 turns of tape and wrapping rubber around the plastic fitting and tightening with pliers. It didn't crack, but I was concerned. Now that it's done, all is well. It's probably best if the pipe is far enough from the shower to direct the jet straight down, but mine is at an angle and the water path is enough to direct the water to the center of the shower.
