Great little sharpener from Jolie Cosmetics. Jolie Cosmetics Double Makeup Eye & Lipstick Sharpener Works well, very sharp and easy to clean. I bought this with fingers crossed that it's sharp enough to sharpen my plastic lipsticks/lipsticks and it's no problem. More and more companies are making lipsticks in the form of plastic sticks and need a very sharp sharpener to cut through the plastic and get the job done. The fact is that the description says that the lid leans backwards, but unfortunately that is NOT the case. The one I received is NOT EXPOSED. The flip top is attractive because it protects the top and makes it less likely to get lost. It would also help hold the lid in place, which will hopefully help reduce the chance of a buildup of shavings that could end up all over the place in your makeup bag or vanity due to a fall. ❌ The sharpener has NO hinge. lipsticks/lipsticks of plastic. ✔️ The tips rarely break in the sharpener. ✔️ Contains a sufficient amount of chips. 🌐 Overall I am happy with this sharpener, however the description needs to be updated to reflect the correct sharpener that is for sale.
