Instructions and tool to adjust the band were not included with the band. A small screwdriver or pick is required to open the hard latch. When the Mi Band watch is then inserted, it seems to pop out again. I have found that there is a flexible rod at the end of the strap hole that needs to be physically secured in a holding position, again with a small pick. Otherwise, I really like the silver band. It decorates the look and is comfortable.
