Of the SIX adapters I've bought, this is the ONLY adapter that will make my Contax Zeiss glass work with my Elan film cameras. I have two C/Y lenses (35-70 3.4*T and 80-200 f/4) that I've used on my Contax RX and Sony A7r2, but I needed a film camera that was A) lighter and B) my Zeiss ZE 21mm would work with it. This adapter clears the Elan II mirror at either focal length of these two lenses. Elan 7 and Elan 7E work except infinity. So you have to stop almost indefinitely, but that was a compromise I was willing to make. Otherwise, changing the Leitax mount is the only way to get a C/Y mount lens to work. and yet some C/Y lenses do not work with certain EOS cameras, digital or film.
