I wash my linens often and this will be perfect. It's almost identical to the Target brand duvet I use now, but it's about half the price. That way I can alternate them while one dries. Eventually my kids will be bigger and I won't have to wash as often. I can't wait for that day. At the moment I like to just wash linens. I bought Black and Gray Full/Queen. I'm picky about smells and it smells clean right out of the box. Even a plastic bag doesn't have the strong chemical odor that many products have. I'll still wash it before using it because I'm one of those crazy people who are happy with it.
