It seems big, but 163F is still piping hot for coffee. At 7pm it was still 122F, warm enough for coffee. I think most people would have finished their coffee before 7pm LOL so I didn't proceed with the temp test. It should be noted that I wasn't drinking any coffee, just checking the temperature for my "hot dough". Home Large Huis coffee pots have proven themselves.
