This is GREAT! We got rid of all our plastic containers and replaced them with these. We've been using it for over a year now and we're still very happy with it. You can pop them in the microwave and reheat leftovers without worrying about the plastic fumes in your food. (First remove the lid and cover with a paper towel). No more plastic and discolored containers. They seal very well. I don't think they will keep food in the freezer very long without freezer burn. It would be fine in the short term, but use sealed foods in the long term.
