For $15 you can't go wrong with this item. I have a light for my young son (he sleeps in his crib in our room) so I can see when I'm feeding or changing him, but not so bright that it wakes my husband or overwhelms the baby. . I used to have a red bulb in my flashlight that was just SUPER bright. This is the perfect alternative! I also love all the different colors. So when I'm trying to get him to read a book at night, I use soft white light. And when I'm done reading, I just press the red light at full brightness. Perfect! I will say that the remote control is a bit misleading. It shows different shades of red. but they are more like yellow and peach. Green is more blue and blue is more magenta (minor issues). But I also like other options like strobe effect, fade out etc. and timers (1, 2, 4 and 6 hours). Perfect for what I need it for and at a price that won't break the bank!
