This Brass Tacks Leathercraft business card holder is very well made. I have black and would like a nicer color. But it goes with everything. The case is closed. Inside is an accordion with nine card slots in the center and wider pockets on the sides. Each slot can hold two cards, and each end can hold cash or more cards. It can be used as a mini wallet when you only have cards, ID and cash. Several checks also fit. The case is definitely leather. The scent screams real leather. It's soft and stretchy but a little thin. I have an accordion case, but it's bulky and big. This one is small but holds just as much as my larger one so I'm switching cards now. I love accordion card cases. It's much easier to draw the card you want when everyone is standing. I still have to pull each one out to see what it is. All in all, from a good gift box to a good finish, I really like this card case and I think it's worth $14.99.
