If you've ever struggled with babies who wake up early, this product is a lifesaver. I've tried everything. Co-sleeping, sleeping on his floor, putting a mattress on the floor, putting him to bed dozens of times. You name it, I've googled, tried, failed. My 23 month old is emotionally unprepared for a big boy bed and lack of sleep turned him AND his mom into a monster! I refused to buy this tent because of the $100+ price. If I could go back a few months and convince myself that this is the best money I've ever spent, I would! Arrived quickly, set up in 5 minutes. It goes around/under the base of the mattress and is attached to the 4 bedposts. It's a nice size and seems spacious enough for my 8 year old to happily climb in and camp with his little brother! Installation aside, the effects of this thing are AMAZING! Since the night we received it, our incredible sleeper has returned. He loves to. He goes to bed with no problems and sleeps 12 hours straight. When he wakes up at night, the tent comforts him and he goes back to sleep. He wakes up so happy in the morning. He sleeps 2+ hours again! The only con I can think of is that it's impossible to look inside the crib with a video monitor. I put the monitor on a shelf opposite the cradle so if the tent moves a lot I have to get in, but for now we're just using it for audio. Little man calls us when he wakes up, so clay is all we need and all we ever had for his big sister. I've never been so happy with a purchase. Sleep is golden!
