I needed some light in some places under the roof of the house. This ruled out the use of solar power, so I opted for these battery powered devices. With the adhesive pads supplied, they were glued without any problems. They are about two and a half meters above the tracks. Our small dog is enough to call them, which is perfect. The amount of light is just right for my needs. I doubt these lights are waterproof but if used outside in the rain they should work fine. I would have preferred if they stayed on screen a little longer than they are now (about ten seconds without motion), but overall I'm satisfied. I wish I had these guys sooner.
