I usually use the cheaper round Costco sunshades which seem to be more reliable than the ones you can find in auto parts stores but this time I wanted something more reliable. I will say that this is perfect for the RAV4's windshield. Not a hint of the sun penetrates the car (especially in Arizona), and the interior is noticeably cooler after being toasted outside in the sun. Haven't tried folding the umbrella when not in use yet as I just put it in the back seat. Eventually, with enough flexing, the frame/wires will break inside (as they always do) and I'm trying to extend their lifespan. I will say the frame is pretty solid and feels very solid. It doesn't sag at all. Very happy with the sun visor, I recommend it to everyone!
