Item exactly as described. It is a short band and therefore does not stretch. I only mentioned it because it was one of the features that Revane wanted me to consider, but that's not the case with this product. The entire band is cleverly tied together at one end with an elastic band so when you pull it out of the packaging (a strong, resealable ziplock plastic bag) it doesn't wrinkle or tangle and you can easily find the right color and pull out the piece . Regarding this item, buying that many ribbons and that many colors at any fabric or craft store, at least where I live, would easily cost $60-$100. I only needed six or seven and now I have the rest of the pack which I keep in our craft closet. I have no doubt that we will use this a lot when we come up with something to keep kids busy during this pandemic.
