this is a good mirror, unfortunately for us and probably thousands of other customers the company includes a base screw to attach the base to the mirror. The screw is about 1/4-1/2 inch too short to hold the two pieces together. To mount our mirror you need to go to a hardware store, get a longer screw, matching threads etc. We have a mirror with a lower magnification. which have been in use for several years, and even with the correct screw, the base will separate from the mirror mount. The company must supply a "lock washer" and the correct screw when selling mirrors of this type.
