Good cowash option for dandruff

So I believed the hype for some natural and fresh shampoo options (*coughLUSHcough*) and ended up with a really bad case of dandruff and an itchy scalp. Since the other H&S options in the store weren't sulfate free, and I have curly hair (semi-permanent purple, so no detergent allowed!), I ordered this one. The aroma is pleasant, beachy, coconut; I find it soft and sweet and not overwhelming. There is a cleaning. Fur. This isn't my first rodeo with a ladle (before trying LUSH shampoos I was a regular user of the Renpure, Shea Moisture and Carol's Daughter brands) and I think it's fine, but I can't wait that long between either Washing lie this one. With the other brands mentioned, I wouldn't have to deal with my hair for two to three days in a row (co-washing, brightening rinse, etc.). I want to use it daily to avoid feeling greasy in less than 24 hours. Considering I had to buy it to get rid of the itchy madness, I should probably use it daily until my scalp gets back to normal. [However, the water bill sucks.] So far, my best result has been to use this ladle generously first (my hair is cut relatively short for the hotter months, so "generous" is probably a tablespoon or so) and massage it all the way up to the scalp then rinse and wipe very quickly and go through with a real sulfate free shampoo to reduce the remaining oils on the lengths of my hair and continue rinsing. So the scalp itch is removed but there is no feeling from the tips that I forgot to wash off the conditioner. My naturally wavy 3B curly hair doesn't frizz or frizz nearly as much with this product. Once the itch/dandruff issue goes away I think this will roll in and out of my rotation. Either way, that's definitely not the holy grail for me. Unless you need it to treat dandruff I would recommend other dishwashing detergents.
