Review on BiOrb 45988 Executive Stand Black by Ryan Hampton

I've paid for functionality, storage and looks; I didn't get any of this. As per the 2011 review, what I received was not what was pictured or described. The stand they sent does not match this reviewer's description - neither gray nor chrome - all black. There is no storage space. The device consists of just three planks (only 23 inches high instead of the advertised 27 inches) made of durable wood (or maybe wood-like). not the advertised 14" diameter but 13.75" and with the chamfer the usable diameter is less than 13". It resonates easily on carpet, tile, linoleum and hardwood. I won't risk using it on my Hex5 tank for which it was designed. I might consider putting a 1 gallon aquarium on it if I didn't have pets, kids or someone who could accidentally hit it and send my betta to an untimely death. The positives: It arrived quickly, was easy to set up, black and round, goes well with my decor and should hopefully last a glass or two so I can at least use it as a side table. Looking back, it's too much to pay for a cup holder.
