It was very easy to put together if you followed the instructions. My problem was that I didn't, so when I looked at the instructions. The assembly took 20 minutes, the longest time was screwing. I didn't check the measurements either, again my fault. just love how it looks. Anyway, I gave it to my granddaughter, she loved it, it matched her room perfectly. This is a really great product, it's not flimsy but very durable when put together properly.
