Review on ๐ŸŽค 300W Wireless Bluetooth Karaoke Amplifier for Home, Car, Bus Tours - Pyle PFA600BU by Cindy Carlin

Revainrating 3 out of 5

UPDATE: Great value, works almost perfectly

Update: Less than a week after I left a good review the amp just died. It started flickering and the sound went off and the lights flickered and then nothing. Bluetooth no longer works. Luckily the return period wasn't over yet so I sent it back to Revane. I will not buy the same one to replace it. The amp works great, as do all the connectivity options (aux, bluetooth, fm). I needed this to connect to the Echo Dot in my garage as a Bluetooth speaker extension. The Bluetooth connection was easy to set up and the box is powerful enough for my Definitive Technology outdoor speakers (which I now have in my garage). The only catch was connecting the speaker wires. I used good quality speaker wire that was quite thick (maybe 14 gauge?) and the speaker mounts were clamps that you press down on and then insert the cable and then hop the clamps that hold the cable. Well, in one of the connections, the thick wire was causing the terminal to fall out (along with the spring that created the "clamping" force on the wire). I found both pieces, snapped them in place and tried again to insert the wire more carefully. The second time I could tell he was holding on, but barely. Luckily I installed this unit about 8 feet off the ground so once everything was in place it didn't have to be touched. As long as the clip is there and the wire is in place, I'm pretty sure any tug on the wires will cause the clip to come back out. I call it cheap, but at the same time it explains how I was able to get an amp of this quality for less than $50. So I snapped in a star but overall it works and works well, could have just used stronger clips to secure the speaker wire.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not the best
