I like the simplicity of this cable compared to the larger cables in my school lab which have 2 cables on Male and female ends are connected. The DCE and DTE ends are clearly marked on the plastic tab on the connector ends. One thing that worries me (see image) is that the specified molding at the joints may be too thick to use on the WIC-2T. They don't fit flush, and although my serial ports show Status = Up, I'm concerned that the load could damage the WIC-2T.
