If you're worried about wrinkles, READ THIS! Great product for the price.

When I looked at them I had two main concerns: will they look very cheap and how bad are the creases I see in some photos? Short answer: It doesn't feel cheap at all. In fact, I'm shocked by the quality of the materials, especially given the price. It has creases, but they can be reduced (at your own risk). I bought 31" and 36" versions of these. The 36 inch rug got rid of almost all of the wrinkles in a day or two. It's MUCH smoother than the 31-inch model. Unfortunately I can't take a picture of him because he is at my work. while wavy wrinkles do not disappear. The corners are rounded, but no small waves. If you have a bright light on your desk, the rug looks perfectly smooth (which is why I think a lot of the photos here look good). If you don't, you'll see ripples. I photographed both light situations. (Note - my photos were taken AFTER I threw this in the dryer which you can read about below. The waves were a lot worse initially) I was a bit disappointed with this at first but I read from a user here that they did have a rug in their dryer for a few minutes. I went for it and it worked very well. Wrinkles are much less. Two notes on this: 1. Don't put in the dryer for long. I kept it on regular heat for three minutes and when I took it out it seemed like it had melted more in a few minutes. 2. This may cause small dents in the mat. I attached a photo but after I removed the mat it had a small tear. I suspect this will go away over time, but it was 100% my dryer. If you are afraid of this, do not use the drying method. I put a keyboard on it so it's not the end of the world. In short, smaller rugs have stubborn creases that won't flatten out. However, they will fade over time, but you can speed this up with a hair dryer (at your own risk). The quality is amazing, especially for the price. It has a nice grainy top and the bottom won't hurt your table (it's almost like faux velvet). I can't believe how cheap they were - now I have them on both tables and I've renewed the placemat. They're easy to write on, work well with an optical mouse, and just feel good.
