8 screws to assemble. Quick and easy. Very stable. The hieght is just right for sitting on the couch. The table top is big enough for my 16" laptop with enough room to use the mouse as well. The wood is unfinished but that just gives it a rustic look. I might put a clear coat on it. Good value for the money. Yes, I would recommend this product.
