Doesn't fit well in cup holder

The base is too tall and narrow to fit in my cup holder, even with all the included foam pads and some extra materials. Consider buying a saw to trim it down and investing in better materials to make it fit. I think it will be serviceable eventually, but I put more money and time into it than I wanted for a basic pair holder.
