The presentation is as good as the product description. The styli are beautiful, especially the striped wood, and feel good in the hand. The nibs are beautiful to look at, easy to remove or install (although the rubber grip came in handy for removal), and deliver a consistent line of ink. The pen holder is an added plus: no more running for paper towels at the last second. Overall I am very happy with this set. Then why not five stars? Because there can be no talk of instructions. There is a quick guide on how to wash feathers before use, but that's about it. No letter formation schemes, different fonts or techniques to hold the pen at the right angle. Because of this, this is not a kit for absolute beginners unless they purchase an instruction book. It would be nice if it was mentioned in the description. I happened to buy a couple of books at the same time as the set, so I was fine. Again, I'm very happy with the set and will be using it a lot!
