Review on Fahren Forenner 9005/HB3 LED Headlight Bulbs: Ultimate Brightness with 12000 Lumens, 6500K Cool White, Pack of 2 by James Duffield

Installed it on the eve of a night in the mountains and wow I installed it, pulled up in front of a white garage door, turned on the headlights and couldn't even tell the other halogen was still on. I kept both of those old OEM halogen bulbs in a little box in the back just in case those LEDs accidentally went out while driving, unaware that my headlights are also DRLs, meaning they're on during the day too . and three weeks later they are still working great! I've given up the halogens and will never drive a car without LEDs again, and I have HID for regular headlights with projection lenses that look very weak in comparison. I'm thinking of replacing them with LEDs and the high and low beams of all my family's cars if they have PROJECTOR lenses (the only safe way to install LEDs as normal low beams). PROS: You definitely don't want to leave them in bright/distant light with oncoming traffic, but while driving I noticed that whenever they were on me, oncoming traffic could see me driving through trees and around corners, and one has spun since Person around turning off the high beams well before they see me, which is unusual on this road, they don't usually turn off their high beams even if you turn off their high beams, or just before they pass you. Second, no one wants to pass you for fear you might turn the lights back on after they pass! CONS: I think I smelled a bit of hot plastic on the first ride but nothing since and I checked and they haven't melted. Probably only the radiator fans and coatings get hot the first time.
