This is the best synthetic, water-resistant tote with built-in pockets for a laptop, files, and other items I've found in years. The outer and inner fabric, straps and zippers are of very good quality and the bag is well made. There are two reasons I didn't give it 5 stars: (1) the bag is heavier and bulkier than described; and (2) The laptop sleeve and outer pocket, while large enough to hold a giant laptop, are made of soft fabric with no reinforcement, making the laptop vulnerable, albeit differently. The solution is to store the laptop in a neoprene sleeve and then slip it into a KROSER bag. (Kensington has quality black neoprene laptop cases.)
