I chose this USB-C dock because it was the only dock I could find with at least DisplayPort/Thunderbolt 2. At first it was great. After about 4 weeks of use, my MacBook Air (M1) display stopped working. I used a mini display port, 2 USB ports and a USB-C pass-through port for power. Hoping it was a MacBook Air issue, I replaced it with Costco and tried a second Air with that dock. By the second day, this MacBook Air was completely dead. This docking station seems to be frying my computers. Based on this experience, I will no longer mix Power Docks and USB-C. They rely on the USB-C hub manufacturer to control power and not fry your laptop. I miss pre 2016 laptops that had ports.
