gimmick. Bad design, bad result.

These things don't work at all. Probably because the charcoal is wrapped in a plastic shrink wrap in an outer cloth bag. Plastic does not allow moisture to be absorbed by the charcoal itself. The poor design of these bags makes them unusable. No better than leaving your sweaty shoes outside to dry.
