Imagine a case that has a thicker area - like a "bumper " around the home button

Maybe just bad luck. But keep that in mind! it fell off the armrest of my couch onto my son's toy car. It cracked the screen on the home button and booted up the screen. I kept the case on until my replacement screen arrived and it cracked a lot more. I haven't handled it roughly, just normal use.
