I misread the description and didn't realize it was all plastic but that didn't stop me from enjoying it. Now I work on a laptop and will work on it in the kitchen or at the dining table by the window. I have. Kindle HD 8 and Kindle HD 10 and Pixel 3 XL. While I'm at work I can use my tablet or phone, and whether I'm playing a song, a podcast, or a movie, the mount elevates it high enough that I don't have to look down and worry about them falling off in their cases. The holder holds everything in it to help at a slight angle. The ability to press down on the rubber pad and press the button to increase or decrease the height works perfectly. Pros: Ease of use. A lightweight. Folding back the plastic to hold the holder in place is easy to use and doesn't look like it will break easily. Holds tablets or phones. at a clearly visible angle. Most tablets and phones with cases (within a reasonable thickness) fit this mount and are stable. So adding it to my bag takes up space. Although the plastic appears to be listed on Lastix, I'm not sure how long it will last with daily use. Personal preference - it's only sold in white which gets dirty but wipes down easily with soap, water and a towel. There's only 1 level to say it's about an inch from the bottom. All in all, for home affairs with a laptop and you have space on your desk to put your tablet on this mount, it works great. If you only use it to watch videos or movies, it works great. I would recommend buying this if you need a mount for most tablet sizes or larger phones. A really decent angle when watching videos and movies with or without a case.
