You get what you pay for but shop before you buy

I research almost anything that is a specialty and/or is over $100. I've searched all over the internet for a monitor stand that offers some flexibility in what it offers and settled on this one. To each his own. My thoughts at the moment; Pros: Sturdy arms designed to hold heavier monitors, laptop option, height adjustable arms and support base allow arms to move independently and even swap side to side. If I go for it (some coasters have arms that clash with each other), I like the polished look that contrasts with the black, quite classy. Solid base with "through" mounting option, and the cable routing method was about as good as any other stand. The laptop stand partially holds the computer with Velcro which was very secure even with small parts; Rubber pads are also included (both 3M and good quality). Cons: The price is a bit high and the connections are incredibly tight, at least initially. All in all, I was very impressed with this article. It seems very well made, love the look and it's solid, the laptop stand is way more secure than I could ever imagine and I ripped my laptop off but better than the chance of it falling. It's also natural to grab the monitor, or in this case the laptop bag, to use as a lever to adjust the mounts. I have a 29" monitor that can be worn on an arm and will probably be able to work with a larger model in the future. But from the factory the ports are tightly sealed. It shows build quality but at the same time is disappointing. The merchandise was very well packaged, all parts were in place in the box The small items were in sealed back-to-back boxes (mostly a few items) sorted very well overall This is a really good item and although takes some time to get used to manoeuvring Getting used to the "limbs" really does make the table feel roomier once the traffic chaos has been cleared away. The joints are initially quite firm and can become lighter with prolonged use, but over time and given the weight they are handling If you have to, this is not a problem. I can wholeheartedly recommend this article.
