nice boots but poor construction for walking in snow
The boots are cute and have good support, but the side velcro opening goes down too far leaving a gap in the ankle area. This allows snow to get into the trunk easily when children are playing or running in more than 3 inches of snow. So not the best pair for hiking in the snow.
