The jacket smelled like Febreeze or a perfumed detergent right out of the box. It was unworn and still had its tag on. Maybe it was a return or it was stored next to some perfume products. I'm not deducting a star because most people probably won't even be able to smell it. Just wanted to let anyone who is SUPER sensitive to artificial scents like me know that this happened. Otherwise, this is a really cute jacket. The child this was bought for is medium and I except XL is rather oversized but seems a tad small.
