Wonderful idea in theory. In practice not so much. A strong adult could probably use this easily. I'm not a strong person at my age. I need a place to sit during walks, demonstrations, etc. It's great when open and locked, but I find it very difficult to fully open and lock in that position. The arm strength is not enough for the opening jerk! I end up opening it at home or in the car (after a few failed attempts) and then carrying it with me fully open. This pretty much defeats the idea of a small, compact carrying position. A locking mechanism that just clicks into place without turning can help. A hole that doesn't require as much force, moves, and somehow stays in the fully open position long enough to set the lock in place can also help.
