Finally a pair of good bifocals.

I had no idea what to expect from these glasses but am very pleased. The first thing that catches your eye is the quality of the materials from which they are made. These aren't the flimsy disposables I'm used to buying. The biggest plus for me was that the bifocal lens is wider than most, meaning I don't have to strain my eyes to keep them from falling out of the magnified area. For me it was very important. I work as an industrial carpenter and always have to have it with me, otherwise I risk a fine. They are so comfortable that I often forget I'm wearing them. But my colleagues don't forget that and like to tease me about how stupid these things look. I have a narrow face, so yes. They look ridiculous but at least the wives will know that their husbands will never cheat on them because no woman in the world will look at you a second time while wearing them. You guys are ok with big strong heads. They actually look okay on you. I've never had a problem with these goggles fogging up when wearing a vented respirator. Will definitely buy again. UPDATE: So, after a month of wearing them I still think they're great, but wanted to warn people that you wipe your lenses in 100 degrees like I did the front of my sweaty t-shirt the other day in the heat followed by clouds of dust from passing excavators on the construction site, they are destroyed. The lenses now have persistent foggy areas right in the center of the lens after just a day in these conditions. Now they sleep in the trash can. Luckily I have a second pair and I know people will say use a clean cloth first or pour some water on it and that's all good but if you keep sweating and fogging up you find that by repeatedly wiping the risk scratching the lens.

Pros
  • The dioptric magnification is molded into a polycarbonate lens and is intended for workers who cannot read fine print or fine detail
Cons
  • Can't remember
