If you are serious about keeping your hair out of the drain and out of your bathtub, this is the best solution. Trust me I've tried them all and this is the only one that really works. It enters the drain and is in the shape of a dome, part of which protrudes over the edges of the drain. It has these tiny bumps and allows the water to flow down the drain a little slower so you actually have about a half inch of water in the tub. The hair floats, so when the water drains, all the hairs cling to small bumps to keep it out of the sewer. Then simply pull out the hair and rinse or wash it. I like to wash them with detergent. They are very effective and capture at least 99% of the hair.
