I had a Sony A5000 for two weeks and returned it for it. I am VERY happy with my decision. The camera feels much better in the hand. The A5000 felt very cheap/plasticy/hollow and the color was blurry at times. The M10's colors are amazing, the focus is great and the recording sound is fantastic. I also liked that if I zoomed in during the video I couldn't hear it in the video. At Sony it was very annoying! This camera has many shooting options, but I only use it in auto mode because I already have a DSLR and I just need something for quick photos and videos. The quality is amazing and I love the flip up selfie camera! The menu is very light and easy to navigate. Overall I'm very satisfied and glad I switched.
