overall a good buy and product here. We ordered a flush mount lantern and found the instructions were completely wrong. First, the included ball nuts aren't even needed. throw them away Secondly, the instructions say that the screws must be hidden in the ceiling box. This is incorrect and wastes a lot of time! Install the mounting screws by threading them into the mounting plate, then take the bracket and slide it up towards the ceiling so the screw heads are protruding from the top of the bracket. You can then tighten the screws so that the light is flush with the ceiling. Much luck!
