We ordered a size up (11/12) as he now wears American 9/10s and they were a bit tight to begin with but suitable for use as he is sweet . slim. After washing in cold water and tumble drying, they shrunk badly and our son could barely get them over his head. Seeing how dense they are I'm not sure if 13/14 would be better as they are VERY thin. We liked the bright colors and the quality seems pretty good for the price. We really wish they fit better and are sad to have to return them.
