I've read all the reviews and I'm glad I did I bought it anyway. For starters, connecting printers to Wi-Fi networks is (and probably always will be) my time to brush up on all the good swear words. Over the years I've connected several different printers to Wi-Fi, and none of them have uttered enough expletives to peel the paint off the walls. In that regard, this printer was no more disappointing than any other, so that didn't affect my rating. The print quality meets my needs - color charts, shaded CAD prints and random gift cards for full color printing at home. I don't print portraits, so I can't comment on that. It connects to the network when needed without additional prompts or wake-up steps and responds in a timely manner. Not the fastest on the site and you can definitely hear it while typing, but it's quiet when not typing. It's bigger and heavier than most printers, but not bad for someone as clumsy as me. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase after the first 3 months. If anything goes wrong I will update this review.
